Selfish Ledger (Collage-1)

Post by jonetsu »

This is an updated mix (and updated title) of a piece created 3 years ago, to see what could be done having 3 years of mixing experience now. Unfortunately, the space on soundcloud is tight and this is a replacement of the original file. None of the tracks were modified, the idea consisting only of remixing, with what new plugins were added during that time.

Sounds good to me. I didn't hear the previous version, however. The song is interesting, with a rhythm section providing steady momentum for the cool ambient sounds that come and go over the top of it. It is never boring.

Nice ambiance and feel, good groove. I like the way the vocal samples just become this sort of vaguely-human rhythm component. Reminds me of the vibe on Brian Eno's "Nerve Net" album.

Thanks !

He he .. I'm tempted to add "never boring ... hence the short duration" :)
