This shorter piece features some resynthesized and processed vocals through which some cello and synths are weaving, all with a drum backbeat.

Re: What You Say
Great, I like it! How did you make the vocals? Production sounds good and everything is well balanced. Maybe I would try putting the kick drum and bass more into the center.

Re: What You Say
Thanks ! The vocals are resynthesized by Harmor from the Veela sound bank. So once you get the vocals they can be played like an instrument. The remaining background vocals are the same although blurred and processed using MTurboDelay.
Harmor is an additive synth by Image Line and is quite a different synth beast. Does not run perfectly smooth in Linux but is OK. It does have some problems with linvst at times when more processing is needed. Harmor has usually a very clear and upfront rich sound. The richness in additive harmonics is slapped into the ears. Care must be taken and as you can see from the presentation below, the parameters are very different from regular synths. Very little of a familiar territory. A Swedish guy also wrote last year an almost 200-page manual.

Harmor can be used for top loudness sounds in the Skrillex genre. This piece by SeamlessR who put out a few tutorials on Harmor shows the clear upfront harshness that sounds can take.

So really, Harmor can be both a beast and an angel...

Additionally, there's a 40-minute talk and demo by SeamlessR on additive synthesis using Harmor:
