This is a mixture of a variety of styles that I like.
This is the near-final draft. I will only be adding some minor subtle elements later this year.
But I really hope you like this tune as much as I do.

I tried really hard to make this tune moody and interesting.
There are a few little surprises in it too.
As usual, it's a free download.

Peace

This is quite good. A variation on the wobble bass that's seemingly a dear thing to additive synthesis enthusiasts. The use of various tones in instruments does not disrupt the main thread. I haven't heard yet your other material, so this is the first one. I'm listening now to "Peace in Korea" which also comes across pretty good as far as maintaining a thread through tonal variations. Both pieces are inviting which is very nice.

Cheers.

Wow, thank you very much for such a heartfelt review. I really appreciate your deep musical analysis.
I am currently in the process of rediscovering a bunch of my downloaded freeware VST effects. I didn't know how to use a lot of them until I watched some tutorial videos last week. It's turning out OK now. A lot of it comes down to finding those plugins that have the easiest to use interfaces.

Soon I will be remixing/pre-mastering a whole bunch of my older material, but I also have about 12 new projects all simultaneously brewing. Here's something I whipped up yesterday: (I will be doing a lyrics version too)

https://hearthis.at/protozone/onus/ ("ONUS")
https://hearthis.at/protozone/onusuncha ... watersmix/ ("ONUS_UnCharted_DeepWaters_Mix")

These are pretty crazy, but fun. I will try to make them more diverse as I re-edit and overdub them.
I really hope you like these. Hopefully, when done, they will be like a cornucopia of intensity.
They are supposed to be a little bit wierd, too.

good call.
i used to listen to alot of NIN.
Not so much anymore these days.
My tune "Twelves" had tons of NIN influences.

Trent Reznor is a pretty talented guy. I found The Fragile to be one of the best albums I've ever heard.
What other bands do you like?

Puhh... everything from electronic music (COIL, Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares, Pan Sonic, Chris Carter, Throbbing Gristle, Sigillum S) to Krautrock (fAUST, Nurse With Wound, Möbius, Cluster, etc.) to Black Metal (Mayhem, Rotting Christ, etc.) to Noise (Menace Ruine, SWANS, Pharmakon, etc.)
