So basically this was something like a synth soundcheck from somebody much better than me.
A bit of editing, guitar playing, hydrogen programming, arranging, mixing - and a nice result for only appx. 3hrs work.
I feel like it's calling for more, anybody inspired? Have a go! (108BPM)

Re: another song protytpe
Maybe I phrased that poorly - the song is calling for more tracks. A voice. A sax. A mean fusion guitar. And maybe, for a little feedback, too

Well, I don't play sax, but I *do* play its underappreciated cousin, the clarinetforestandgarden wrote:A sax.
One point of feedback: Right now this is way too repetitive for my tastes, I would prefer some different musical phrases intermingled in, as well as some harmonic progression.

Re: another song protytpe
Actually, the author of the original synth riff had it on his mind to write extra parts after being surprised with my mix, alas, at work, they're preparing presenting the company performance to the investors, so...
But personally, I'm growing fond of the approach of taking relatively little original input and making a song mainly by alternating different combinations thereof - in that sense, any little 4 bar lick would be welcome, and allow for more arrangement permutations. What I could imagine to fit well, would be some (mostly) female rapping, and/or soul/jazz sinnging - that would give sense to the whole thing.
In other words, I can definitely see how the song could benefit from more chord progressions and extra parts, but like the challenge of making it work with less ingredients better, atm. Thanks, of course, for listening & feedback.

I like it. It's repetitive, but it's hypnotic (in a good way)! It's hard to imagine what else could be done with it. It feels like it could be a coda for another song.
