, because maybe the crappiest vocal utterings will still stir up more exitement than the most heroic guitar work, or so the reasoning went.
Don't expect great things, the whole sketch is but a loop, and the production is matching the standard of the cheap chinese karaoke mike I used, an upgrade to the former practice of recording with phones when needed.
The last sane Man is dancing in the Moonlight on the Mountaintop
is probably called that because with a lot of fantasy, you can see a distant semblance to the ethnic chanting on Enigma albums like Le Roi est mort, vive le Roi . This is also the excuse for über long looping: it's meant to put you into trance.
An honorable mention must go to the energic drummer I found; born to a chinese mother and a japanese father, he's quite at home in the ethno genre, goes by the name of Ha-Idro Chen.
..and then he began to sing

..and there was no force that could stop him
I just couldn't resist digging up a much older sample of my involvement with ethnic experimentation https://clyp.it/4jaqdg14 and post it in a quick self comment, for general enlightenment and the benefit of humanity.

Nice work! Just to clarify, the drums are by Ha-Idro Chen? psyocean's image does capture the vibe I was getting, too.

Oooh, thanks a million, folks, what a sweet feedback.
As to my never tiring drummer, try to say his name aloud a few times. It's a magical mantra that brings satori.ufug wrote:Just to clarify, the drums are by Ha-Idro Chen?

haha love that pic!
My trance was somewhat interrupted by the opposite urge to dance...
Great sketch, love the texture created by the 70's funk synth bass and the power-strummed acoustic guitar.
