Re: Minor Particle
I know this one is not supposed to be super engaging but I got a little bored of the same chord.
EDIT: Oh crap, after switching to other stuff I noticed that this chord is still playing in my head, get it out, get it out!

Re: Minor Particle
The idea is certainly great and part of the feeling was captured in that recording. All it would need is work in getting the sounds right, shaping the whole thing, balancing, adding some instruments perhaps, like a bass sound could make an appearance in the middle or so.
For instance this is an improv based on a synth riif to which two other synths and a guitar were added. All done in not much time. I mean, it does not take much from your idea to just shape it a bit more, do the extra step(s) while still keeping the feeling that was captured initially. This is I find very important: how to not betray the initial feeling when working on a piece. A lot has to do with that about how people will perceive and react. If the essence of initial feeling can make it through the work, and perhaps even enhanced, then the 'magic' will be preserved and can be communicated. Not so easy. I find that starting by balancing the existing sounds is a good approach and then see if there's anything needed that would support.

Cheers.

Re: Minor Particle
Sound are right & in balance, I could not imagine me getting much more fuller experience with live recording without edits One big thing is that this could be played live any time, alone. Sure there is some clitches on Roland GR-33 tracking, but did not want to edit them away, or do any re-takes to try to get more sanitized version. Yes, bass might be good to it, I could consider remake with bass.jonetsu wrote:All it would need is work in getting the sounds right, shaping the whole thing, balancing, adding some instruments perhaps, like a bass sound could make an appearance in the middle or so.

Re: Minor Particle
Very moody sound you've got going there on both of these. Nice work.
