Hello,
This is a somewhat relaxed piece that contrasts a laided back rhythm with a busy bass over which an acoustic guitar weaves some chords. A piano (slightly doubled by a synth) adds a melody while an analog sounding synth provides a solo.
This is a test insofar the rhythm is solely made using a single Biotek synth factory patch (Algorithmic Spring). Knobs were assigned to various parameters of the 'wild' Biotek interface and were recorded as automation after an initial recording. These parameters influences several sound aspects of the rhythm. Only this Biotek patch is playing in the first 8 bars.

Re: test-jam105
Thanks. That was a quick mix since it was a test. The bass part was not sequenced nor looped. It was played in real time from start to finish, so there ought to be mistakes.
I am not sure about the Biotek synth though. I'm not sure about its sound stability. But it's an interesting synth. It works mostly witha proprietary sample format called acktionsample. It can also work as a regular synth, with 4 oscillators. So far there's no availble toolkit to create those samples that can be manipulated by Biotek.
