My wife and I made a video for her song "Tie Dye Soul". It was recorded in Ardour and the video was done in Kdenlive. The guitars were played through Guitarix. I found a strange patch in this collection I found for DX7 called Old Pond V. I thought it added a real vibe in the verse sections. Not really sure how to categorize it other than just rock.

I like it! Very catchy song with good vocals and instrumentation. If I had to nitpick I'd would say the guitar is a bit quiet at times and not really coming through somewhere in one part in the middle of the song, but overall very nice!

Nice song! I think both the vocals and the arrangement are good.

Hi!
Well mixed and recorded! It seems to choice is to have the guitar licks as more of a texture thing underneath the lyrics than it being a guitar song I would assume...? Great work on the video too, that's a lot of shots to work with and sync.. I can attest doing a Video for a song ups the time needed by more than double even more with lots of scene changes!

Quite groovy! I agree that the guitars seem to be a bit buried, though (both the clean chords/arpeggios, and the distorted licks), especially considering the bass is nice and beefy instead and steals the scene.

Nice song. I like the rhythm patterns and the way the lyrics complement the drums, bass and guitars.
The overall sound appears a little dated, perhaps in a good way, because the high frequencies seem to be attenuated quite a bit. At first I thought I was listening to a 70s production, which fits the genre in many ways.
