External audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett) stopped working after reset
I am using a Focusrite Scarlett Solo under Ubuntu Studio. It worked out of the box but after I hard-resetted the computer it stopped working. It does not play any sound neither is it listed under mixer-controls. It shows up under lsusb though. If I diconnect and connect it it makes a sound and the mixer shows the volume.

I remember having a problem with PulseAudio (the lowest level - I think - layer of the audio system apart from pipewire).
It is able to switch "pro audio" gear between "standard" and "pro audio" modes.
The problem with this is that the device names will be different.
If you have some kind of permanent setting that depends on a device name,
(I'm mostly thinking Jack/qjackctl, but it might not be that obvious with other software)
try repatching/rerouting.
