I thought I'd try some alternative sfz implementations in Carla. I have both sfizz and liquidsfz loaded. Neither present me with an obvious way to load anything into them - neither have a "Show custom UI" option which is where such options are usually found. The standard options page doesn't have such an option either.
What am I missing? How do I load sounds into these?
How do I use sfizz / liquidsfz in Carla?

In carla, when you load a plugin, when there is a cog icon next to the on/off button on the top row, you can open the UI via that.
With sfizz, you click that and then you click the "DefaultInstrument" text to load a new instrument.

I don't have that.
Only things on the "parameters" tab are volume, polyphony, internal oversampling factor and preload size.
On the rack, I tried accessing the cog icon but it's greyed out. The right-click menu shows "Show Custom UI" but it is greyed out. On the patchbay the item is missing from the menu (it's there for other plugins). The dialog I did open is the one you get to via "edit" option.

Re: How do I use sfizz / liquidsfz in Carla?
I'm using the LV2, installed using the Arch Linux community package, it's sfizz version 0.3.2. My Carla is 2.0.0.
My daw laptop is a bit out of date, I see there's a later version 0.5.1 I might try installing that, see if I can.
