If there is one thing I am not happy with, its the speed of the camera.
Some stuff I need to test, like will making the corridor longer increase the rendering time of one frame ?
The way it is set up, longer corridor more speed.
Will adding some stuff leaking from the pipes increase render time allot ?
Electric sparks?
I want more bloom, but render time ?
Will have to look at the vid and see the issue you are talking about.
First suspect the red jumping lights (emissions) Already turned down refraction to lower the render time.
I remember seeing this more on one side then the other, and that did confuse me.
That link is about the cycles renderer, I used eevee think that matters? Directly into an mkv file. ( this time)
The way I understand it cycles is better, eevee is faster.
I am also battling my amd vid card drivers and Blender.
Blender says: no compatible GPU found for path tracing. (in settings)
This is as far as I understand this, driver related, not hardware related (RX570)
One solution would be to install the closed source AMD vid card drivers.
Another one is, and that's the one I am trying, to install some parts of that closed source driver.
Then in Blender I should be able to use the CPU and GPU to calculate renders.
About you tube:
Vid looks better at my pc, did I see on you tube a HD setting? More to google investigate.
File size at my pc: 138,7 MiB .mkv.
Also when rendering the movie, I used an mp3 of my track, but I have off course a much bigger wave file directly from LMMS.
This should give a better sound. (one conversion step less)
One conclusion, it's easier to do it the Ducky 3 way who has a relative short corridor that loops.
I assume you then do copy paste in a video editor, the 250 frames loop, to make a longer video.
Allot less frames to render, only 250 versus my 6650.
Blender can probably do this but one problem with my model, the red lights reacting to the music.
Unless I take that out, I don't think there is a way to make a shorter loop.
Might need a fundraiser for a threadripper.
Allot to investigate, when I checked the cpu usage, it looked good as Blender was using all cores and treads, but only at 25%.
( Ryzen 5 shows as 12 cpu on the commandline )
