excesive virtual ram consumption?

i was snopping at the system monitor and i saw virtual ram column a little high even with the procceses being offline, is this causing any consumption on my system and some slow performance? or is just my crappy cpu? I got an intel core i3 2nd gen and 4gb of ram thankyou all

Virtual Ram usage can be caused by memory mapped files/devices, too. Don't be afraid. AFAIK this won't slow down your machine.
