[Solved]Alesis DM10 Studio e-drums in Ubuntu Studio 19.10 EE

Post by wardlok »

Recently installed Ubuntu Studio 19.10 EE on hardware upgraded Lenovo T510. WD Blue 500GB SSD w/ 8GiGs RAM. All is well with the install. No custom partitioning, just one huge partition. Have Alesis DM10 Studio e-drums plugged into the computer via USB but don't know if system recognizes its presence. How can I find out if system knows the e-drums are there?

You can just type 'lsusb' in a terminal and see if it shows up.

Thanks for the tip. The e-drums are being recognized in the output from that command.
