Windows 10 has some sound issues, especially when run as a VM. WIndows Netjack doesn't work for me.
The "Scream" virtual sound card works for me. In Unicast mode even with my WLAN bridge and a local KVM-VM.
JACK support doesn't work for me yet but Pulseaudio works ok. That's no problem because I use Pulseaudio's jack sink.

Re: Sound from Windows 10 to Linux
Is Windows 10 your guest or host os?
I've been using a laptop with Windows 10 as the primary OS, but I've got Ubuntu set up through Virtual Box that I use for music stuff. I've gotten JACK to work, but there are lots of XRUNS

Re: Sound from Windows 10 to Linux
WIndows 10 is my guest in kvm/libvirt. Windows 7 worked fine with the ac97 soundchip emu. Unfortunately there are no ac97 drivers for Windows 10, so you have to use the ich9 soundchip emu. The Windows 10 drivers for these soundchips make problems when Windows 10 is run as a guest in kvm, Virtualbox and Vmware, as I found out.matterisvoid wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 10:36 pm Is Windows 10 your guest or host os?
