I use the Ample Metal Ray5 II virtual bass plugin.
Unfortunately it plays every note one octave lower. If I put a D3 note to the MIDI channel in ardour the plugin plays a D2 note. This is very stupid because it's not possible to use any normal bass track from guitar pro tabs. Every note lower than the 5. fret on E string can't be played by the plugin because it transforms it to one octave lower and the lowest note on the bass is E1 (ob B1 on 5 string basses).
How can I make it play the original note?

Could you work around the issue by adding Robin Gareus' X42 MIDI Keys Transpose filter in front of the virtual instrument, and transpose up by 12 semitones?@hdr:

That might be a solution.
Do I have to set the transposition for every single one of the 12 notes or is there a way to do it for all together?
