By reading this, I had an idea...MuSeq.

It's unique enough (there is an EQ which is called museq but it's a different spelling, that's more like musEQ).

It can be read as "music".

It's a portmanteau of "muse" and "seq(uencer)".

It's not a huge change.

That's subtle and genius.

Love the idea of @Basslint as well. It is simple and obvious.
Sorry if I distracted you with such a nonsense.

If it's already in use by other audio software, it defeats the purpose though. Regardless of the slanting of the name.

The other software is a plugin in another category and I don't think it's hugely popular. Also, that's musEQ actually. Some spins on that concept:
- mu-seq (with the dash)
- mu.seq (with the point)
- useq -> it's just museq, but the "mu" is written in greek as μ, which is sometimes latinized as u (as in uTorrent, which is actually μTorrent). There is actually a free software called useq but in another domain (http://useq.sourceforge.net/), so I don't think there will be issues. The logo would use the μ, so it would read as "museq"
- miseq -> "mu", which in greek is written as μ, is spelled as "mi" in modern Greek. I don't think there is an audio program with that name.
- musek -> "museq" is spelled the same as "musek", so the q can be replaced with a k. I don't think there is an audio program with that name.
- muzek/muzeq -> like above, but a pun on muzak

Edit: museq could have trademark issues, additionally.

Just to repeat. I'm more than happy with it just as it is. Changing the name and/or logo makes it less recognisable.
