Copy from MIDI part to another MIDI part

Post by saturnin51 »

I registered a drums midi track, containing bass drum, snare and close hit-hat. I would want to split this drum track in 3, one by drum sound. Is it possible ?

To my knowledge, no. The way I do this is right click > Dupliacte track for each drum sound, then I go into the drum part, select and delete the notes for the unwanted drum sound.

You can select all notes for one drum sound (eg kick) by holding down SHIFT and clicking one of the events (viewtopic.php?p=126476#p126476).

MusE DAW running on Debian 11 Testing/XFCE4.

Hello,
Is there a chance such a feature could be added ?
I have the same need, but for MIDI tracks, not drums.
Is it worth filing a feature request, or will this be a no ?
