I use part coloring all the time. The colors can be change under Settings - great! But I would like to change the names into something more "logical" (for me, at least ). I miss a "Verse" color.
Currently:
Default
Refrain
Bridge
Intro
Coda
Chorus
Solo
followed by instruments...
Would it not make more sense to change to the part names to
Default
Verse
Chorus (almost the same as Refrain)
Bridge
Intro
Outro
Solo
followed by instruments if anyone uses those...
The names are located in:
muse3/muse/gconfig.cpp
muse3/muse/widgets/musewidgetsplug.cpp
Will changing this code break old installations? Easier to just add a "Verse" color?

Re: Part color names - I propose a change
All the part colour names can be changed in the Settings > Appearance > Colors tab.
Does that work for you?

Thank you, @Tim E. Real ! Now I feel stupid -- I didn't see the "Color name:" box below the tree view. All is well!
