Tested:
That fluidsynth-dssi plugin is messed up, bro!

It distorts in both MusE and QTractor.
Not good. Probably should avoid it.
Use our fluidsynth mess plugin instead.
You can stack multiple soundfonts with ours.
And those reverb, chorus, and variation controls that you see on each midi track actually work well together with our plugin.
And since you built MusE with libinstpatch support, if you use drum soundfonts, MusE automatically shows all the note names!

One slight known bug with our fluidsynth mess:
After loading multiple soundfonts in our plugin, please ensure to actually select a valid patch in the
particular midi tracks driving the synth's channels. Otherwise identical sounds might occur in each of those midi tracks.

For example ensure that patch number 1-*-1 "Roland New Age" is selected on Track #4 (Gong) and that
patch number 1-*-1 "Polysynth" is selected on track #5 (Airspace) and that
patch number 1-*-1 "Roland New Age" is selected on track #6 (windchimes).

(Anyway something like that. I think that's how you had it...)

After that, should be good to go!

Our fluidsynth MESS plugin is more tightly integrated with MusE since we can do what we want with our own MESS system.

Also if you build recent git versions, we have some 'midnam' support now, so automatically drum note names
are shown for LV2 synths that support midnam, such as DrumGizmo and AVLDrums.

"I know everything. I'm the guitar player." ;-)
