Crazy idea maybe: Soundcloud.
You can set tracks (which could be parts) as private and hide it from the public, but still share them with a private link.
Soundcloud itself re-encodes the tracks for playback but if you enable download in your track you can get the original file.
Soundcloud does have a nice way of commenting on tracks.

Clyp.it could work that way too I guess

The above does involve a lot of clicking and toggling stuff .. not very effective.

Another idea ; setup a MEGA account for a project.
MEGA has 50gb free cloud storage and native linux desktop clients, very nice. Auto sync, works perfect for me.

No, you can upload hi quality wav.
For the online playback they convert it but your download is the original hq wav.

Anyone knows how it works with commercial loops and samples regarding sharing ?
