USB mixer

I'm thinking of getting something like this to front my PIII/Dell/Ubuntu7.10/Audacity - Do you all think it would work ok? My Audacity recording straight in works pretty good as is, but you know... a mixer probably will come in handy but I've not used USB mixers, does Audacity find them ok?
