Indamixx

Hope this is not too late of a reminder. Remember the prototype device we got a glimpse of sometime last year? Well, Trinity Audio Group had finally delivered a marketable and working result at least two months back:

No doubt, it looks tempting. According to the man himself, Ronald Stewart, you can now savour this beta product at the price of 999.99USD. This was not, apparently, the figure expected initially (it was supposed to be low-cost). Due to unforeseen (business) circumstances, mass-producing would be pretty difficult without a major corporate entity backing up the effort. As such, low-quantity manufacturing would bump up the cost inevitably.

We surmise that there should be a significant demand for such devices, since portability is the key concept; musicians and producers alike would definitely welcome a lighter load on their mobile sessions. Here's a list of features:

Hardware
Samsung Q1 Ultra
Touchscreen
Wi-fi

Software
Mixxx (might this be the motivation behind the name?)
Ardourino (a "smaller" Ardour, the free Pro Tools-like DAW)
260 Plug-ins
Audacity
Hydrogen
Mixxx
IDJC
Qtractor

How about it? Give this a go, especially if you have some savings left over from your recent gig. In the future, there may be more additions in terms of hardware and software. We already have word that Ronald has expressed interest in LMMS, a wonderful, user-friendly and FL Studio-like software sequencer.
