Hello, I've got Audacity automatically recognizing my Scarlett 2i2 when using ALSA. However I can get no signal from the 2i2 monitored or recorded into Audacity. I can monitor my instrument directly on the 2i2 though. When I select the 2i2 as the input interface for Audacity, the gain knobs for each channel flash reddish/orange a few times. Hopefully I'm not out of luck and this 2i2 (which I bought used) is going to work for me!
Using the Scarlett 2i2, on a Thinkpad T580 running Ubuntu Studio 20.04.

I had no problems with my 2i2 (1st gen) but I used them with jack only. Audacity can record/playback with jack.
