In the manual for this product, it' specifically mentioned that it's USB class-compliant:
• No Mac or iOS drivers needed. The iConnect AUDIO4+ is USB class-compliant, so it’s recognized automatically by Mac OS X and iOS for applications to pass audio and MIDI as soon as you connect it to either of the unit’s two Device ports.

But there is no mention of Linux so... is there anyone who knows the truth?
Is this product supported by Linux, including on-board hardware mixer/routing?

I don't know exactly what 'class compliant on Mac' means, but it doesn't seem to be the same as 'class compliant'.

There was a thread about a Presonus interface that is 'class compliant on Mac' but didn't work on Linux. The input worked, the output didn't :

All iConnectivity devices (audio and midi) are controlled by MIDI sysex messages. Their iConfig configuration software can be used in Wine. I'm using it for my MIO10.
On their website they even provide a manual describing the sysex protocol used, so someone with too much spare time could write a native Linux config utility.
