Unable to change sample rate on POD Studio UX2 on KXStudio 14.04.5 with Cadence

Post by delsquaredpsi »

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so do tell me if I've missed out any info that might be needed to figure out the problem.
I'm running KXStudio 14.04.5 with a POD Studio UX2 audio interface. I'm having problems with the sample rate setting in Jack (using Cadence for this). In spite of setting the sample rate to 48000 Hz in the properties, It sets itself to 44100 Hz as soon as jack starts. According to KXStudio's documentation, 48000 Hz or 96000 Hz gives lower latency than 44100 Hz or 88200 Hz, which is one of the reasons why I want to use a sampling rate different from 44100 Hz. Attempts to change the sample rate on the Realtek audiocard that's inbuilt on my laptop succeed however. I'm able to change between 44100 Hz and 48000 Hz on that. I'm just not able to change the sample rate on my POD Studio UX2.

These are the JACK logs:

Do tell me if more info is required to figure out the problem.

Thanks!
