Hello everybody,
While i assume that the RME HDSPe RayDAT will work properly under Linux, i'd like to get some confirmation of an actual user, before i actually buy the thing. Has anybody got this one working? I'm planning to use KXStudio/Ardour

Thanx in advance,

Re: RME HDSPe RayDAT - any info?
answering my own question... this is what i received in a personal communication:
This post from 2012 said that it works but there is some fiddling involved: https://community.ardour.org/node/4837
But this post from 2014 said that it works almost out of the box on Debian/Ubuntu, as long as you have alsa-tools installed: https://www.forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.php?id=20386

Your best bet is to go on the RME forums, they have a Linux section.
