ADAT USB device

Post by 1234 »

Hi,

does someone use a
Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
PreSonus AudioBox 1818VSL
Behringer FCA1616
Behringer UMC1820
or similar device in this price range, providing ADAT and MIDI?

Regards,
Ralf

I've used Focusrite Sapphire Pro 40 with ADAT input (connected Focusrite OctoPre MK II). All worked fine. Think there will be no problem with Scarlett, too.

The 2nd Generation Focusrite Scarletts work as class compliant devices, but the internal routing is not supported by ALSA at this time. The 1st Generation Scarletts are fully supported. The situation is similar with the Presonus 1818VSL; the internal DSP does not function on Linux. The Behringer devices have no internal routing or DSP, so they are fully functional on Linux.
