Firewire Ti Safire pro 26 Supported? no starting

Hi All
After doing much research I was under the impression that the saffire pro 36 was fully supported by FFado.
After installing my new FW card with a TI chip. I cannot start Jack Or Ardour.

I have added my user to group Audio as advised.
Will I need to re-install Ubuntu Studio 16.04.1 Xenial Xerus LTS
Using FFADO Mixer says nothing found.
The Saffire is on at boot.
Jack will not start.

Please advise
