Hey guys, for some reason my Trigger finger wont show up (in catia, or in lsusb) on my ASUS X401 (running KXStudio) and for some reason it won't show up no matter what I do!
Tried plugging it in to a friends Thinkpad running the same KXstudio and it worked perfectly.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions!!
Thanks,
Athan
Sidenote I'm new to linux and it has been awesome (save for the minor bugs and exceptions like this one).

Re: M-Audio Trigger Finger on KXStudio
Get the computers in the same room, compare
type of usb ports, 1/2/3, power-on procedures, and compare config files,
/home/you/.jackdrc, /etc/security/limits.d/audio.conf,
various blacklist files in /etc/modprob.d, (check for usb sound items),
look at log file output of text files /var/log/messages, syslog and user.log,
power management settings, irq-sharing.
Compare output of commands
lsmod (for usb audio modules)
aplay -l
arecord -l
aconnect -i
aconnect -o
this link should help slewthing:
http://www.linuxnix.com/find-sound-card ... linuxunix/
also http://www.libremusicproduction.com, for a wide range of audio tutorials.
