Recording in Ardour from Focusrite Scarlett 2i4

Hello dear friends,

i read in google that Focuserite Scarlett 2i4 works ou of box on ubuntu (i have ubuntu 14.04 LTS) and thus has no need for installing new drivers. I have connected it to my Thinkpad X250, qjackctl is running, but i cant see Focusrite under audio lists to connect to ardour. I think my system has recognized the Focusrite (but i am not sure) because of:

Maybe your qjackctl is taking another device by default?
Try to switch the device manually in qjackctl.
