Korg just announced a refresh to the Nano series:

No idea how well this midi over bluetooth works on Linux, but they look neat...

Ok, so I searched a bit of info on that Bluetooth part.
Short story: we're not there yet, but possibly not too far either.

As per the specs from the product page, the nano studios in wireless mode are doing "MIDI over Bluetooth Low Energy".
"Bluetooth Low Energy (Apple Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI specification compliant) - See more at: http://www.korg.com/us/products/control ... lzG2o.dpuf"
On the Linux side, it looks like upstream work is underway with some level of success:

But nothing ready for public consumption that I could find so far...good that they also have USB.

Who's gonna have the balls to buy one of those and try that out?
