Hello I am a new Linux user. Im Using Linux Mint 17.
I want to make the jump to linux audio - and I'm looking at audio interfaces.

heres what i need
1 to be able to record guitar/voice with a rodeNT1a condenser mic.
i only need one input.
I need headphones out and 1/4 left and right to my adama7x monitors
I need to be able to record to a click in my headphones

Is the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 a plug and play interface for a novice Linux user?

Hey proto,

it works like a charm ootb with very low latency (at least on my ThinkPad W540) which is essential for recording to a DAW's click.
