Amazon Fire HD 10 tablets $75 at Best Buy, Target, Amazon etc

Post by glowrak guy »

These are 32 gig models with 10" diagonal screen at 1080P. I verified that my Spotify and Netflix accounts worked,
and used the default Silk web-browser to access youtube. There is a headphone jack, and usb-C for charging.
The first settings screen has a font size selector at the bottom of the page, important since you can't boost the brightness
until registered.

There are lots of guides for reducing Amazon's ads and notifications, and for enabling google playstore without 'rooting',
to add standard android apps as desired.

The way this looks, feels, sounds, and behaves, makes it a bargain compared to ipads with a slightly higher spec,
but dramatically higher price. Reviewers generally like all the hardware, except for the cameras being old two megapixel
units, on the low-rent side of the tracks.

To generate an Amazon account, you'll want your wireless device password handy.
They verify your details using your valid email, and cell phone number, to which one-time 6-digit passwords are sent by
email and text message, paste them in the reg-page requestor, and move on in the last bit of the authorization process.

The onscreen keyboard is nice, as the keys are widely spaced for quick typing, and respond nicely.
Physical keyboards and protective cases are available, as are insurace policies against self-destuction.

Cheers.
