MSF: Monastery Grand

On the wine/linvst front, there's a free grand piano just out now for Melda's MSoundFactory:

1 minute presentation:

It can be loaded into the MSoundFactory free player. Basic link in the video.

Quirks as I experience them in Bitwig 2.4.3, which I find are needing a slight workflow adaptation but brings great rewards:

1) Melda plugins will not resize automatically. They need to be minimized then brought back to view. A few clicks away. This is dependent on the DAW. This is the behaviour with Bitwig as it 'closes' the plugin's GUI when minimizing, giving a chance to the plugin to redraw itself when brought back. Mixbus32C OTOH does not close the GUI.so this approach does not work. I always use instruments in Bitwig anyways, and only mix with Mixbus32C. This said, resizing a plugin GUI does not happen very often.

2) The sustain pedal does not seem to work.

Cheers.
