Hi, I'm new here, would love to try out the demo and buy the Linux vst when it's available.
Just built a new studio so this will come in very handy :)

Do you have a link to the demo version still? I tried the one from the old thread but it was no longer working.

Is there any chance that we get Sonarworks (speaker calibration) ported to Linux in the near future (~1-2 years)? I would instantly buy it! :D

You may check various versions of the Linux portage there:
https://sonarworks.com/reference/archive

(note that, at least in my case, using 'wget' as the DL tool instead of any of my browsers was the way to go, YMMV,
and at least for my actual testing plate (Manjaro Arch 4.18 RT + pro-audio) the version 4.4 works nicely.

Wow thanks. Seems that it is work in progress. Is this also for speaker calibration?

Is there any progress? I didn't follow this software for a while, given I lost any connections with Rudolfs, one of the developers. I still have an intention to buy it, Reference could have saved my ass better than my skills when I was finishing my band's last album. Mastering on headphones without correction profiles is doable, as well as getting used to their particular low end freq response, but it's a pain in the ass compared to doing all this stuff with a proper correction profile loaded. Speaker/room measurement is another beast which I'd like to get along with, but seems it's not on the list of upcoming Linux version features.

Working in Harrison Mixbus and Ardour on KDE Neon + KXStudio.

You still can use REW and load the filter settings into the LSP EQ.

I wonder why not more people are writing in this thread. I just tested the Sonarworks Headphone plugin and it's quite impressive!!
I wasn't aware that there is already a fully functioning Linux version. When calibrating my cheap Superlux HD668B it's a huge difference and I stop hearing things that I heard with the uncalibrated cans., because the superlux are bossted in the highs.

I really hope the Studio version is also coming to Linux.

Is @rudolfs.bundulis still around? I think about buying the Linux version and wonder if this will be in permanent development. I also wonder if the studio version is ported to Linux.

And gone again. Currently i can use the headphones i bought from them and their calibration file, i can't use others generic calibration files. That sucks.

This site has a lot of headphone tests and frequency response results - https://www.rtings.com/headphones/tests ... nd-profile
Obviously not Sonarworks but it has helped me more closely match my extremely different ATH-M50x and my Austrian Audio HiX-55, using a system wide parametric eq inserted just before the main output with Carla or jalv.
I just need to remember to load the correct profile when I switch headphones or speakers. Currently using EQ6Q for that but plan to change to LSP Parametric (which can load REW curves) when I eventually get around to some fresh REW measurements and room rearrangements.

In case you don't know it:

Still ... Sonarworks works fine for me with Headphone calibration on Ubuntustudio.

They stopped Linux support

https://www.sonarworks.com/soundid-refe ... whats-new/

This is unbelievable because I asked last August before buying it and they answered that the pluigin will continue working most likely.

"As for Linux support, we are not looking to add Linux for Reference 4 nor do we intend to stop releasing the Linux plug-in"
