I've made a video giving an overview of the most important features of HISE.

Enjoy!

That's cool. I am a little bit surprised no seing so much soundsets published actually. Of course, there are some but given the possibilities of Hise, how can one explain that ?

How could you tell if it was made with HISE? ;)

If the plugin is using stock HISE widgets then that's an obvious give-away. If the samples are delivered in hr or ch files then that's another clue. And if the developer says the plugin is developed in HISE well that speaks for itself.

Other than that I don't think there is anyway to tell from just seeing a plugin. A HISE based project can look totally unique.

Here are a few and you'll see they're all completely different in appearance:

Thanks, some seem pretty cool, but not all are available in Linux format, alas.

EDIT. It use JUCE6, fine, cool :)

I'd like to play with HISE (again). It seems still uses JUCE 5.4.5, so only VST2 version of plugins is possible?

well, though HISE builds against JUCE 6.1.3 it doesn't export VST3 yet, or I haven't managed that
VST2 build works, this is https://github.com/ilirbajri/ORCHESTOOLS-GENESYN-2 compiled with the latest HISE development branch

HISE uses JUCE 6 and it does support VST3 on all platforms.

It exports in VST3 by default, but compiled vst3 binary is just 16Kb. Does it work for you?

I haven't tried compiling that particular project but my own projects work fine.

Are you using the develop branch? Did you extract the included VST3 SDK? Did you check the VST3 box in the project preferences?

Great, it works. Thanks.

And the new HISE look is cool. I've built the sordinia, tried sofiawoodwinds with new HISE, but it complains:
