Ethnic instrument soundfonts

Post by sysrqer »

Does anyone know of any sfz files for ethnic instruments? I'm particularly interested in things like hang drums and traditional Chinese and Japanese instruments like zheng, pipa and koto.

I used some of them, see position 2:12 and 3:01 in https://soundcloud.com/suedwestlicht/die-frau-im-mond

Try Unreal Instruments Koto. It's not clear what the license is, but the download is gratis, and I verified that it works in sfizz.

Didn't know that there are switched SFZ-soundfonts. However, sfizz can handle them.
