Re: Metal-GTX
Q: What would be stupid idea?
A: Play virtual guitar with guitar like midi-controller
I have YouRockGuitar (YRG-1000 Gen2). Connected it with midi, Metal-GTX + 2x Guitarix after it. Some stuff does sound pretty ok.
(playing was what it was, I did not bother to edit midi)

Re: Metal-GTX
Has anyone tested other guitars same site has?
https://unreal-instruments.wixsite.com/ ... he-slapper
https://unreal-instruments.wixsite.com/ ... ard-guitar (is Metal-GTX same with some additional samples?)
Edit: Metal and Standard guitar seem to be mostly different samples. Some samples are same, so maybe they are from same guitar?

Re: Metal-GTX
I have experimented somewhat more with METAL-GTX in Sforzando in Vestige in LMMS now. But there is a problem that the chosen articulations of METAL-GTX (such as Mute_Fret_Down, Pull_Off, etc.) are not saved. After a while or after a restart all tracks seem to end up as "Sus_Down".
Anybody know a solution to this problem?

Re: Metal-GTX
Can that be done in LMMS, or do I need another program or a MIDI keyboard to do that?tavasti wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 9:03 pmSet articulation with notes in midi track (key switches)LinMusGuy wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 1:59 pm I have experimented somewhat more with METAL-GTX in Sforzando in Vestige in LMMS now. Re: Metal-GTX
Yes, you can do it with any DAW, you just add that wanted articulation note.
