Strange behavior with SMDrums loaded in liguidsfz or sfizz
I have downloaded the SMDrums sfz version, but when I load the instrument to liquidsfz or sfizz, the samples are played octave higher or so. When I play the samples individually in Ardour as wav files, they sound just fine. What is the reason behind this, and how do I fix it?

Sounds like a sample rate problem. What is the sample rate of the samples, and what is the sample rate of your Ardour project?

An .sfz file is just text (see https://sfzformat.com/). Can you look at the file in a text editor (or even with "less") and see if anything pops out?
