Is there a way to increase apparent keyboard velocity?

Post by Gooberpatrol66 »

I got a new MIDI keyboard and I feel like I have to slam the keys really hard to get any appreciable volume out of my sampler. Is there a way to double whatever velocity comes out of the keyboard? A plugin, setting or something?

using Studiologic SL88 keyboard, Ardour or Zrythm, sfizz sampler, K18 upright, Piano in 162, VPO3, VSCO sample packs (all of them are quiet).

Quickly googling that keyboard suggests it has programmable velocity kurves so you could probably adjust on the keyboard how sensitive it should be.

Yeah, I found a manual and a way to increase the sensitivity on the keyboard. It helps a bit.
