Percussion (Afro-Cuban)

Post by paul »

Is there a nice free library of samples or soundfont for Afro-Cuban style percussion? Different sounds of congas, etc?

Hydrogen comes with an Afro-Cuban set. I used a couple sounds from it on a recent project.

"Gimme a Hand 1.0” has a cajon, maraca, bongos, claves. Not a full set, but hopefully useful to you.

Also check out the "circAfrique v4” set for some interesting sounds.
