Too bad that I can't download it. They insist in a registration.

Oh, huge!

Do you have more than one velocity, or single sample / instrument?

Really?

I didn't notice that. So, I will upload again to another host soon.

Sorry, I think I don't understand exactly.

Each instrument (e.g. BD, SD, HH etc.) is a mono sample linked to a single key on the MIDI keyboard, if that's what you are asking.

'Velocity' in midi world means how hard you hit key, and similar way, in percussive instruments how hard you play. When you make sf2 with polyphone, you have also velocity range for each sample.

So for good soundfont, you should have sample for every instrument, you should have very lightly played, normal and hard hit. And more of those layers, better it is. For example, Salamander Grand piano has 16 different velocities, which is amazing number. 3-4 different would be really good.

Thanks.

I know what "velocity" is, but wasn't aware of the option to have different samples with different gain/velocity.
So, the answer to the original question is: no!

The samples were originally recorded 2009/2011 for a use in Hydrogen. Just one sample per instrument.
Since I'm new to creation of .sf2 sound files this continues on all the .sf2 sound files recently created.
Still in a learning curve.
