NBO 0 second update
Here's the second update for NBO version 0. It includes the 2 improved solo violins. The solo viola and solo cello have also been improved. The string quartet sounds pretty good, especially for a freebie.
Also included is an improved solo trombone.
The only new instrument is a celeste.
You can get the update either via this link:

Or via using the attached torrent file.

Re: NBO 0 second update
So do I just delete the older versions of the instruments that were updated, or does this only update certain parts of the instruments, like a few samples and changes to the sfz files?

So I've looked at your suggestion here: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopi ... 2&t=466195
Can you provide a list of files to delete with each update?

Re: NBO 0 second update
Bit of a dinosaur here, I've only used sf2. What is the best way to use this with Ardour please as it sounds just what I am looking for.
Re: NBO 0 second update
Load LinuxSampler as a (MIDI) plugin in Ardour. Then run QSampler to load the particular sfz instruments (into LinuxSampler) you need, and assign each to a MIDI channel.English Guy wrote:best way to use this with Ardour

I'll probably just make a shell (bash) script you can run.FaTony wrote:Can you provide a list of files to delete with each update?
I'm working on the final update for version 0, and then we'll move on to version 1. I recently found a new source for several orchestral solo instruments that are well recorded/played. So the final update will have lots of improved solos, and several improved sections.

Btw, NBO almost hit the bandwidth limit:
Used: 58.311 GB
Total: 62.500 GB
I think I will remove archives from the site a keep only torrents if I hit the bandwidth limit.

hey FaTony,
IIRC you are here in this Forum and seem interested in sampling and proper licenses. I had some years of pausing linux audio but I am back now and still very interested in those topics.
I would like to gather contacts and connect people will this interest.
Since this forum does not give out personal information, which is good, would you be so kind to contact me either directly over my github profile or the mail option provided there? https://github.com/hilbrichtsoftware I don't want to write the address here since this forum is often targeted with spambots and I try to avoid spam.
