No Budget Band: Guitars

Post by j_e_f_f_g »

Here's the first part of my "No Budget Band" series -- all the non-orchestral instruments. This zip contains the guitars (and other fretted instruments, except for basses) that I've released. There are changes from the previous releases.

1) Everything is organized more cleanly and logically, with the idea that the No Budget Band will follow my new "rolling release" update procedure.

2) New "full" mappings allow all an instrument's articulations (sustain, muted, harmonics, etc) to be loaded simultaneously into a single midi channel, and the articulations are switched using a Sound Variation controller message. This is the same scheme used for all the No Budget Orchestra instruments.

3) The steel string guitar is vastly reduced in size. It also now has both a 6 string, and 12 string, version.

4) The nylon guitar has a harmonics articulation.

5) The strat has an improved muted articulation.

6) Pick and string noises have been added for realism.
