Nice that sf2 and sfz are supported, and loading some Korg formats, Kronos, M3, Oasys, Triton and Trinity.
The new scripting (only giga for now) should be a great feature, when common formats are supported.
Lack of articulations in linuxsampler may soon be a relic of the past, and nice to have
in the side-door at bitwig.

Here are demos of windows sample format convertors, with some limited useage,
should still work in wine, and may be of interest, for those who find bargains on various old
synths, sample collections, or roll your own extentions beyond giga format:

Maybe even synthclone or older windows version of highlife,
could resample old korg synths rescued from ebay/craigslist,
to use with LS V2 etc

Is it just me or does Linuxsampler 2.0.0 keep crashing for others as well when loading soundfonts?

I can hardly swap through 3 Fluidr3 sf2 presets before it stops working and needs to be killed and restarted.
The "Realfont_2_1" sf2 collection (commonly available on Internet) won't load at all in Linuxsampler 2.0 yet works fine in Carla (using Fluidsynth?)

I haven't used SF2 or SFZ files much in LS but I don't recall any problems with either. I'll check out the files you listed when I'm done teaching tonight.

Linuxsampler works pretty good for me with gig and sfz files but those two soundfonts I posted crash it on my computer for some unknown reason whilst they work fine when loaded in Carla.
So it would be interesting to know whether the issue with those particular soundfonts are unique to my computer or whether more people are affected.
