Hello, I'm quite a newbie, happy to jump in.
Running a fresh installation of KXstudio, I'd like to get a better use of Linux sampler.
I'm able to run it as a standalone but without the editing facilitiy, gigedit might not be installed according to the error message.
I'd like to be able to edit the instrument through Fantasia that seems to be an advanced editing extension.
As an LV2, I cannot load it into Carla I get an error message.
I'd be pleased if anybody could help me,
best regards

I am afraid I can't help you with gigedit. But Polyphone, a standalone soundfont editor is a nice tool.

Thanks for the answer, using an external editer is a solution. I'll have a try with Swami that is available in the software catalogue of kxstudio.

Search for 'gitedit' in muon package manager. Not in software catalogue. It should be there

Indeed, I found it, it was already installed, I did it myself through the terminal. It won't work from linux sampler but I can run it as a stand alone. thanks everybody.
