sfz-player for Linux other than linuxsampler?

Post by bluebell »

Hi all,

linuxsampler works but it's not integrated well in DAWs. I have to configure it with Jsampler or Qsampler instead of finding it preconfigured after loading the project file into my DAW.

Are there other sfz-players for Linux that are available as a DSSI- or LV2-module?

EDIT:
The combination Qtractor and linuxsampler-lv2 store linuxsampler's configuration in Qtractor's session file. Stupid me.

there's ls16 plugin, but it's DSSI (so won't work in ardour3) and only supports GIG files.
DSSI wouldn't be a problem in Qtractor and Rosegarden, but too bad it only supports gig.

YES! YES! YES! *drool*

ls16 compiled out of the box and seems to work.

Is there a tool to convert sfz to gig?

Edit:
Extreme Sample Converter (a Windows program) seems to convert it after replacing all slashes in the sfz-file by backslashes.

Edit 2:
In complex sfz-files is doesn't get all layers and samples. The result isn't ready to use.
