Hi all,
linuxsampler works but it's not integrated well in DAWs. I have to configure it with Jsampler or Qsampler instead of finding it preconfigured after loading the project file into my DAW.
Are there other sfz-players for Linux that are available as a DSSI- or LV2-module?
EDIT:
The combination Qtractor and linuxsampler-lv2 store linuxsampler's configuration in Qtractor's session file. Stupid me.
sfz-player for Linux other than linuxsampler?

DSSI wouldn't be a problem in Qtractor and Rosegarden, but too bad it only supports gig.falkTX wrote:there's ls16 plugin, but it's DSSI (so won't work in ardour3) and only supports GIG files.bluebell wrote:Are there other sfz-players for Linux that are available as a DSSI- or LV2-module?
YES! YES! YES! *drool*falkTX wrote: Carla LS support is based on this code. When I get Carla working as LV2 plugin you'll be able to load whatever plugin (like DSSI in ardour) and GIG/SF2/SFZ as well. (Next year!)

Re: sfz-player for Linux other than linuxsampler?
ls16 compiled out of the box and seems to work.
Is there a tool to convert sfz to gig?
Edit:
Extreme Sample Converter (a Windows program) seems to convert it after replacing all slashes in the sfz-file by backslashes.
Edit 2:
In complex sfz-files is doesn't get all layers and samples. The result isn't ready to use.
