I'm currently trying to get Sforzando to work properly via Wine.
For the most part, the standard installation has worked without an issue, except trying to import SFZ comes up with an error saying "ARIA cannot find %sample_directory% from: -1", which seems to imply that ARIA is not properly running under wine as a sub-process. When loading the included instrument (TableWarp2), everything works as expected and can be loaded as a VST using yabridge.
Anyone got any advice? I'm currently using wine version 5-21(Staging) and I'm on KDE 5.76.0 / Plasma 5.20.3.

Re: Sforzando via Wine (Standalone) Issue
I have been trying it out but it doesnt work well for me at all on Manjaro. Loads of x-runs when loading libraries and it plays random notes at times etc.
Much better luck with sf2 format and fluidsynth based plugins (like the one built into ardour)

Sure, it's pretty early, but active in development. So report bugs. Sfz is a nice format, sfizz will be the thing on Linux.

Do you know if any of these have or plan on having an ADSR built in? Like Sforzando has, would be very handy for keys

Best to ask it yourself at their support channels. You 'should' make a github account, so you can easily report issues too.

I don't think so, they are just SFZ players. To adjust adsr, need to edit sfz-file.christobal wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 12:49 pmDo you know if any of these have or plan on having an ADSR built in? Like Sforzando has, would be very handy for keys![]()
