Presets for LSP plugins.

Post by usalabs »

Hi y'all, I'm trying to find out if there's any presets for all the LSP plugins, I have a recorded session using Ardour 6, and when I tried one of the plugins, the 16 channel EQ, there are no presets. My pro studio uses windows 10 and Sequoia DAW along with the mastering software from Izotope, which there is a preset they have and it's the one I always use for a particular genre, there are other presets too for different genre's, my home studio uses Ubuntu Studio, but there are no presets for the LSP plugins, I don't want to spend weeks even months fiddling around with moving parameters around when a preset that mastering professionals have created, will do just fine.

I am not a mastering professional (they get paid, right?) but I am bored at the moment, so I had a go at recreating the eq settings on this page https://emastered.com/blog/best-equalizer-settings , which you can find as presets (for the parametric eq) in the attached file. Just extract them.

Largos, can I use your EQ presets to embed them into LSP Plugins?

Added built-in presets based on your files to the Parametric Equalizer.
They will be available in 1.2.4 release.
Here's the commit with changes:

Figured could do better than five :) , so I made some more based on what I see a couple of other eq's provide by default in their presets. Generally quick shortcuts to a basic setup. Updated archive is attached.

Joined the forum after seeing this post
I was hoping to find some but since it looks like a) there aren't any and b) we can contribute them, maybe I'll make the effort to translate some over from other popular suites.

Added some of the presets to the repository.
Some of presets (like filter configuration) I personally don't find useful since they can be set up in 2-3 changes in the UI, so these were rejected.

Ahoy,
i 've created a patch of somewhat esoteric presets that refer to the studies of Jens Blauert on the subject of directional listening (https://second.wiki/wiki/blauertsche_bc3a4nder).
If anyone wants to play with it, it would be nice to get some feedback to this approach.
