There are lots of modules included in Cardinal but still I'm looking for some extra things to do:
- Distortion as in Wolf Shaper.
- A differentiator module (that calculates the derivative of a signal).
I there a way to do this in Cardinal by using the currently included modules?

Maybe I found a module that can approximate the derivative of a signal, the Golem module:

I did not see Wolf Shaper in Cardinal. I expected Wolf Shaper or something similar in Cardinal, but could not find it. That's why I'm now looking for an alternative to Wolf Shaper that is contained in Cardinal.

Cardinal can host plugins, look under the DISTHRO section.
As far as waveshaping, I believe that Wolfshaper can do essentially the same as a wave folder. Give it a try and see if the results are more or less the same.
As far as your other question, I'm not exactly sure what you mean but it looks like the difference between two signals, would you subtract one signal from the other?

Here I am looking for an approximation of the derivative ds/dt with respect to time t of a signal s. If I understand correctly Golem can calculate s(t) - s(t - h) for small values of the delay h. This is equal to h * (s(t) - s(t - h))/h , where (s(t) - s(t - h))/h should approximate ds/dt for very small values of the delay h.
